A2O have worked on numerous buildings using Terracotta tiles as a built-up, ventilated rainscreen system or mounted onto a composite carrier panel.
Technical considerations include: accommodation of movement in the backing structure without putting stress on the terracotta tiles; design for good drainage and accurate detailing of interfaces with other systems – usually PPC aluminium.
